PlayStation Plus auto-renews and Sony labels the option a couple of different ways - 'Cancel Subscription' on the web, 'Turn Off Auto-Renew' on console. Either way the result is the same: no more charges, but you keep online play and benefits until your paid period ends. Here is the path for each device.
Go to PlayStation Account Management in any browser and sign in.
From the left-hand menu click Subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription next to PlayStation Plus and follow the prompts; you will see the date your access ends.
PS5: Settings, Users and Accounts, Account, Payment and Subscriptions, Subscriptions, then Turn Off Auto-Renew. PS4: Settings, Account Management, Account Information, Subscriptions, then Turn Off Auto-Renewal.
Forgot you were even paying for this? You are probably paying for others too. SubScan adds up every subscription, flags what you have stopped using, and ranks your fastest savings - so you cancel the right ones and they do not creep back. Everything stays on your device: no bank login, no account, no upload.
Start your free auditYes. Stopping auto-renewal prevents the next charge, but your membership and benefits stay active until the current paid period finishes.
No, both reach the same subscription. The web Account Management page is the quickest and works from any browser.
Turning off auto-renewal stops the next charge rather than refunding the current term. Refunds depend on Sony's policy - check the on-screen terms.
