NordVPN's renewal can sneak up a year after you signed up - and the trap most people miss is that cancelling auto-renewal does NOT refund you. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, but only on your first purchase, and you have to request the refund separately. Here is how to do both correctly.
Go to your Nord Account and sign in with your email and password.
Click Billing in the left-hand menu.
In the auto-renewal section click Cancel, then confirm with Cancel auto-renewal. This stops future charges; access stays until the end of the current period.
Cancelling does not refund you. If you are within 30 days of your first purchase, go to support.nordvpn.com and ask via live chat (fastest) or email support@nordvpn.com to request the refund.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore or another marketplace, the retailer handles cancellation and refunds - not NordVPN.
Forgot you were even paying for this? You are probably paying for others too. SubScan adds up every subscription, flags what you have stopped using, and ranks your fastest savings - so you cancel the right ones and they do not creep back. Everything stays on your device: no bank login, no account, no upload.
Start your free auditNo. Cancelling only stops future charges. To get money back you must separately request a refund via support.nordvpn.com (live chat is fastest) within the eligible window.
NordVPN says refunds are typically processed within a few hours and can take up to 10 business days to reach your account, depending on your payment method - confirm current timing with support.
Cancel and request any refund through that store (Apple, Amazon, etc.). NordVPN cannot process refunds for third-party marketplace purchases.
