How to Cancel Your Funimation Subscription

Funimation merged into Crunchyroll in 2024, so most Funimation billing now runs through Crunchyroll. If you're still being charged, your subscription may not have migrated cleanly. Cancel through Crunchyroll's settings if you pay directly, or through the store or partner platform that bills you. Cancellation must be done manually to stop charges.

How to cancel, step by step

1Sign in to Crunchyroll

Go to crunchyroll.com and log in with the account your Funimation membership migrated to.

2Open Settings

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown.

3Go to Membership Info

Select Membership Info, then click Cancel Subscription.

4Confirm the cancellation

Click No thanks, Finish Cancellation to complete it. On mobile: profile, Membership, Manage, Cancel Subscription, Continue with Cancellation.

5If billed elsewhere, cancel there

Apple or Google Play subscriptions are managed in your Apple/Google account. Memberships via Amazon, PlayStation, Roku, or YouTube must be canceled on that platform.
